Due to sweeping changes the Conservative federal government made to the Interim Federal Health Program in 2012, many refugees lost access to key health care services.
This rally is to state loud and clear: END CUTS TO REFUGEE HEALTH CARE.
We will gather at 11am on the grass outside of the Royal Jubilee Hospital (at the corner of Fort & Richmond), as a symbolic point of access to health care.
We will begin a short march at 11:30am to bring our message further.
We want to draw attention to the changes that have denied many refugees access to health care, and ensure that our next federal government restores access.
Please bring signs to communicate our message!

This rally is a part of the 10 Days of #RefugeesWelcome Action.
